Let's see if this still works! || 2010-07-24 16:56:48
Well it's been a while.. a long while.. since the last blog post and all sorts of things have happened since!

Firstly I have a job, and have been in said job for over a year now.

I'm ranked as a Junior Programmer, and get to stick my greasy mitts into all sorts of code - exactly what I was after! I'm a generalised programmer, and don't really specialise on anything; apart from perhaps Lua, Entity Systems and Tools Programming.

Our game has also recently been announced on Digital Reality's site here

I've taken part in a few LudumDares as well, consistently ranking around the middle... which is pretty good considering I don't spend the entire 48 hours on them due to other things!

My console madness has been climbing as well and I've acquired a huge amount of stuff.. so it's probably a good thing I currently have a two bedroom house to myself, as the second room is currently a "retro games room" full of stuff.

I'll probably blog some more about what stuff I've got later.. if I remember.

So yea, this is essentially a post to see if this still works or not.. would be surprisingly as the code for the blog is still quite hacky and there's still the half-arsed implementation of categories and comments!

Let's see how long it takes before I post again.

I've also just fixed the category support ( after two years! ) but as usual, buggered up some of the posts as they've been updated to the right categories, and had their timestamps updated as well. Oops.
